My job is to make those details disappear into the background — so the artist, producer and creative team can stay focused on making something great.
ABOUT MICHELLE MARTINEZ
Hi, I’m Michelle.
I’m a Los Angeles–based session producer and recording engineer with more than six years of experience across music, television, film and audio production.
For the past six years, I worked with DBMIX Productions at Hunt Recording Studio, where I served as a Session Manager and Pro Tools Recordist. That experience put me at the center of sessions ranging from orchestral recording to rock and voice — preparing sessions, supporting artists and engineers, managing the details in the room and helping keep productions moving.
My background also includes recording and session engineering, Pro Tools operation, sound design, studio management and production coordination.
The part of the work I’ve always been drawn to is making the session itself work — preparing the room, anticipating what the team needs, keeping things organized and creating an environment where artists and engineers can concentrate on the work instead of the logistics.
Now, I’m bringing that experience directly to artists, producers, composers and creative teams as an independent session producer.
